Approached last July when life felt so dark, Allie had asked me to part of this super exciting project and to help write the dialogue for the film.
To be honest I was a bit intimidated because it required me to step back in time and revisit unpleasant moments of my life but through the darkness of the times, my past and with the brilliant guidance and direction from Allie, came this piece of light 🤍
It’s a slice of one aspect of my life and in turn a reclamation of my power while honoring my past and a love letter to myself, my truth, my inner child and to my Trans siblings. I hope it can help you all see the power, beauty, love and strength within yourselves even more. Especially now.
May this be the last time I have to share my story this way and I hope you all enjoy this film as it was created with so much love and joy! It may be about my Trans identity but it really is for everyone who has felt the pain caused by white supremacy.
